Heresy is Chapel Factory’s manifesto of freedom. In antiquity, the word heresy described a school of thought – like the Garden of Epicurus.

Since the supreme luxury is to allow oneself the sacrilege of feeling free, HERESY emancipates the sacred notes. An incense water evoking the long desert road across the Arabian Peninsula; treasures brought to the foot of every altar where mankind perpetuates its praise. A spiritual baggage echoing the mysteries of the soul.

The olfactory journey of Chapel Factory Heresy opens with incense and pepper. At the heart, cedar, sandalwood and violet reveal the true character of the composition, before a base of guaiac wood, patchouli and vetiver leaves a lasting, meditative trail on the skin – a quiet ritual renewed with every wear.

The Brand:
Of all scents, incense is the most prestigious. Chapel Factory is an artistic perfumery house conceived by Anaïs Biguine and inspired by the imaginary workshop of a monk, where one ingredient reigns supreme: incense. Its creations are minimalist and pleasingly intellectual, devoted to a mystical ingredient deeply bound to spirituality. The house interprets the return of the caravanserai along the incense road in its universal dimension – a path that carries us towards distant lands and places, with cults, people and mysteries to be discovered through the sense of smell.
